True Ministry Success

What every minister of Christ must know is that success,true success in ministry is in the ability to walk in the blueprint of God for ones ministry,being faithful in it and aiming to accomplish all there is for him to accomplish. That is what is called "making full proof of ones ministry".
Ministry is not titles, Ministry is not fans, Ministry is not having possession to brag about.
Ministry is submission to the spirit in being a yielded vessel in his hands in whatever capacity he has called you to function without you being jealous or envious of others in effecting or reaching out to your world through his grace that works in you.
If he called you to pastor just a local assembly don't leave it and start seeking for how you can be an international preacher.
The yardstick of men is not the same as God's.
Men measure success by symbols and externalities but God measures success by faithfulness,heart and consecration towards ordination and service.
Kenneth Hagin,one of the greatest Bible teachers of the 20th century was a contemporary of Oral Roberts, William Branham, Kathryn Khulman,Jack Coe and some other top healing evangelists that pulled crowds and big tents but God didn't tell him to start a healing campaign or ministry.
This man,had spectacular and frequent visitations from Jesus but he never went into prophetic ministry,he was focused to based on his teaching ministry and the Bible School he established.
He didn't found branches but he wrote books that blessed and is blessing lives of whom I am one of such.
Let us know that the basis of Ministry is not about us,our pride,our status,our possession but about Christ manifesting his work in and through us.
It is about Jesus glorified and not men exalted,it is about faithfulness to the call until we breath our last,it is about loyalty to the government of heaven even while here on earth whether the world claps for you or not,till the day you shall hear "Well done good and faithful servant"

Everything is not about prayers

 Happy new year once again, it's amazing how God has helped each and everyone of us to experience a new year as this,the year 2025.   At this time of the year many of us have high expectations and this is also a period where many churches and religious groups engage in fasting and prayers in preparation for the coming months of the year. While it is good and okay to carry out such religious observance, it is however not the an end in itself but a means to an end.  Most folks after fasting at this period when it gets to the last quarter of the year and it looks as if what they have prayed for in the early part of the year doesn't materialise they feel like God has disappointed them,whereas they have failed to look within how they had also contributed to the state of their lives.  Inasmuch as I advocate and support the issue of being prayerful,I also is of the opinion that prayers or being prayerful is not enough. Dan Okonkwo otherwise known as Rev'd Dan Okonkwo is an ordained minister of God with an apostolic teaching grace.  He is the Associate Global Lead Pastor of New Life Discipleship Ministry,he hails from Issele Mkpitime,idumu ogbu community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. He is second of nine children, and the first of three boys,born on the 3rd of October 1994,in the city of Port Harcourt,Rivers State of Nigeria.
