Watch before you leap

 In life it is not how 'appealing' a thing is that matters but how relevant it is and also how is it in connection to your plans and purposes on earth,does it have any bearing to it.
 In this era of fads and trends where we see most people jump into any kind of thing so long as it appears on social media or the society accepts it ignorantly or deliberately, it becomes more of a reason why any sensitive and purpose minded fellow needs to think,watch and ruminate on such things before throwing in their trowel for such or delisting such from their pursuits by giving it no attention at all.
 Don't take because we have people rush into things we now conclude that it's legit and should be done. He whom joins the crowd most times gets lost in it. The crowds can cloud your thinking.
 You need to sit down and reconsider things before you jump into them. If only that most people do proper analysis of so-called things that they do or hope to do most of the so-called things that we give vent to in our world today would not have come to play.Think!

 Happy new year once again, it's amazing how God has helped each and everyone of us to experience a new year as this,the year 2025.   At this time of the year many of us have high expectations and this is also a period where many churches and religious groups engage in fasting and prayers in preparation for the coming months of the year. While it is good and okay to carry out such religious observance, it is however not the an end in itself but a means to an end.  Most folks after fasting at this period when it gets to the last quarter of the year and it looks as if what they have prayed for in the early part of the year doesn't materialise they feel like God has disappointed them,whereas they have failed to look within how they had also contributed to the state of their lives.  Inasmuch as I advocate and support the issue of being prayerful,I also is of the opinion that prayers or being prayerful is not enough. Dan Okonkwo otherwise known as Rev'd Dan Okonkwo is an ordained minister of God with an apostolic teaching grace.  He is the Associate Global Lead Pastor of New Life Discipleship Ministry,he hails from Issele Mkpitime,idumu ogbu community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
