Endtime fall of the mighty

 We are in very difficult times,a period that the Bible calls the perilous times which according to 2 Timothy 3 vs 1 to 8 is a very turbulent time to be a true believer in Christ.
 The Lord Jesus spoke of the state of what the perilous times in Matthew chapter 24 of which many things included in the things He said are; A rise of turbulence in the nations, cosmic upheavals, social and economic crises, persecution of the faithfuls in Him by the enemies of the faith,rise of false Christs and preachers,deception of the very elect and a great falling away from the faith by those who once stood for it.
 Brethren we are in critical times and going by what is happening we can see that all of these things are seen in our time,they are practically manifesting before our eyes.
 Many are falling away from the faith,there is a great drop from seeking God in spirit and in truth in the lives of so many who call themselves Christians, to seek after the mundane things of life.
 It is even quite alarming as well as disturbing to see or hear those whom once stood as giants of the faith begin to give doctrines of 'devils' and things that totally contradict  the gospel of Jesus and what the scriptures supports.
 Brethren we must wake up and accept the fact that we are really in the last days,the end is here,so many things are happening, many are falling away from the track to seek after the things of this life.
 Study your scriptures,build intimacy with God, follow Jesus Christ, PRAY at all times because the days are evil.

Everything is not about prayers

 Happy new year once again, it's amazing how God has helped each and everyone of us to experience a new year as this,the year 2025.   At this time of the year many of us have high expectations and this is also a period where many churches and religious groups engage in fasting and prayers in preparation for the coming months of the year. While it is good and okay to carry out such religious observance, it is however not the an end in itself but a means to an end.  Most folks after fasting at this period when it gets to the last quarter of the year and it looks as if what they have prayed for in the early part of the year doesn't materialise they feel like God has disappointed them,whereas they have failed to look within how they had also contributed to the state of their lives.  Inasmuch as I advocate and support the issue of being prayerful,I also is of the opinion that prayers or being prayerful is not enough. Dan Okonkwo otherwise known as Rev'd Dan Okonkwo is an ordained minister of God with an apostolic teaching grace.  He is the Associate Global Lead Pastor of New Life Discipleship Ministry,he hails from Issele Mkpitime,idumu ogbu community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. He is second of nine children, and the first of three boys,born on the 3rd of October 1994,in the city of Port Harcourt,Rivers State of Nigeria. Attended his primary education at Campus County Nursery and Primary School and then Mount Zion Group of School.
