Work on your skills

 It is one thing to be skillful and it is another thing to be consistent in building, harnessing and sharpening that very skill that you have.
  Most people who are skillful don't see the need to always work on and improve for the better that skill that they have,they have this notion that there is nothing to add more to that skill and the next thing that sets in is lethargy.
   It is important that you need to work to improve on that skill that you have, two things tends to happen when we work on our skills firstly is that you are getting to know more and more ideas of things that you may not have known about that skill that you have got and secondly your value increases because you have come to add more to the knowledge you already had which in turn will translate to the issue of you attracting higher prospective patronizers of that skill which you have.
  Today make it a point of duty to pay a close attention to building and improving on the that skill that you have in you.

 Happy new year once again, it's amazing how God has helped each and everyone of us to experience a new year as this,the year 2025.   At this time of the year many of us have high expectations and this is also a period where many churches and religious groups engage in fasting and prayers in preparation for the coming months of the year. While it is good and okay to carry out such religious observance, it is however not the an end in itself but a means to an end.  Most folks after fasting at this period when it gets to the last quarter of the year and it looks as if what they have prayed for in the early part of the year doesn't materialise they feel like God has disappointed them,whereas they have failed to look within how they had also contributed to the state of their lives.  Inasmuch as I advocate and support the issue of being prayerful,I also is of the opinion that prayers or being prayerful is not enough. Dan Okonkwo otherwise known as Rev'd Dan Okonkwo is an ordained minister of God with an apostolic teaching grace.  He is the Associate Global Lead Pastor of New Life Discipleship Ministry,he hails from Issele Mkpitime,idumu ogbu community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
