What drives you

 Every life is driven by one thing or the other,life abhors vacuum, this is because every life has what controls it either negative or positive.
 What controls or dominates your heart has a great implication on your life and destiny and not just that on your motions in life.
 Some are driven by the thought of revenge,hate,pride,vainglory,quest for materialism,ambition to arrive suddenly, and so many other things.
 We must know that it is the wish of God that what should be the centerpiece of our thoughts is on how to please him and on how to carry out his purpose in our lifetime.
 What should be driving us should not be fame,money, power or any thing that is transient and trivial, but the most of it all which is God and His purpose for our lives,that's what matters most.
 What is driving you today, have you taken a deep thought about it.
 I pray that we take the right decisions that may not affect us negatively tomorrow as we seek to put into cognizance what drives and should drive our lives.

 Happy new year once again, it's amazing how God has helped each and everyone of us to experience a new year as this,the year 2025.   At this time of the year many of us have high expectations and this is also a period where many churches and religious groups engage in fasting and prayers in preparation for the coming months of the year. While it is good and okay to carry out such religious observance, it is however not the an end in itself but a means to an end.  Most folks after fasting at this period when it gets to the last quarter of the year and it looks as if what they have prayed for in the early part of the year doesn't materialise they feel like God has disappointed them,whereas they have failed to look within how they had also contributed to the state of their lives.  Inasmuch as I advocate and support the issue of being prayerful,I also is of the opinion that prayers or being prayerful is not enough. Dan Okonkwo otherwise known as Rev'd Dan Okonkwo is an ordained minister of God with an apostolic teaching grace.  He is the Associate Global Lead Pastor of New Life Discipleship Ministry,he hails from Issele Mkpitime,idumu ogbu community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
