Impact and Influence

 One thing that I have come to realize in this world is that one day we would only be remembered not for the money or riches that we have,certificates that we have or possession but for what we have done,lives we have touched and the impact we made in our generation.

Life is a seed,and being alive is a great opportunity.

 It is possible as we always see in our world of today, that we have those whom are called influencers, these people direct and make some people to go in a particular way of thought.

But I discovered that there is a difference between impact and Influence, it is possible to have Influence but you don't have a great impact on the lives of those following you.

 As an individual, you don't need to have a large following before making little tangible and positive impact in the lives of those around you, you don't need to have a position before doing so,you just have to realize that you are born on earth to add to life and fulfill God's purpose for your life,noteworthy also is that you don't have forever to be here,so do all you can to touch lives positively, impacting people because that is what counts at the end of our lives.

Everything is not about prayers

 Happy new year once again, it's amazing how God has helped each and everyone of us to experience a new year as this,the year 2025.   At this time of the year many of us have high expectations and this is also a period where many churches and religious groups engage in fasting and prayers in preparation for the coming months of the year. While it is good and okay to carry out such religious observance, it is however not the an end in itself but a means to an end.  Most folks after fasting at this period when it gets to the last quarter of the year and it looks as if what they have prayed for in the early part of the year doesn't materialise they feel like God has disappointed them,whereas they have failed to look within how they had also contributed to the state of their lives.  Inasmuch as I advocate and support the issue of being prayerful,I also is of the opinion that prayers or being prayerful is not enough. Dan Okonkwo otherwise known as Rev'd Dan Okonkwo is an ordained minister of God with an apostolic teaching grace.  He is the Associate Global Lead Pastor of New Life Discipleship Ministry,he hails from Issele Mkpitime,idumu ogbu community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. He is second of nine children, and the first of three boys,born on the 3rd of October 1994,in the city of Port Harcourt,Rivers State of Nigeria.
